What is Lipedema?

Do you see yourself? 
These are all lipedema. 
  • Have you tried everything but can't lose weight?  Like, EVERYTHING!?

  • Are your legs extra thick despite exercise and a healthy diet? 

  • Do you wear a larger size on the bottom versus the top? 

  • Are your shirts too snug across your hips or around your upper arms?

  • Do your tissues ache or do you have more pain than you should if you bump something or if there is pressure on your skin?

  • Do you feel like you're fatigued and have less muscle tone and strength than you did in the past?

  • Have you suddenly gained weight mostly in your hips and/or thighs at times of hormonal shift like puberty, pregnancy, menopause, or breastfeeding with no significant change in activity level or the foods you eat?

  • Do your legs look lumpy and bumpy in a way that's not exactly cellulite, but you don't really know how else to describe it? 

  • Do female family members have that same exaggerated pear shape and decreased mobility or pain?
